Encore Pediatrics: A New Chapter

For many years, Encore Pediatrics has been dedicated to providing superior care for children in need of Speech and Behavioral Therapy, along with School Therapy (Metro Therapy), in handpicked markets. Each child has reinforced our goal to deliver reliable and comprehensive therapeutic care for children while assisting parents and care teams through a simple and seamless process.

We are delighted to announce a new phase in the Encore Pediatrics story. Commencing on April 8, 2024, we will transition to the Powerback family of services, rebranding as Powerback Pediatrics.

This transformation signifies more than just a name change for Encore, as Powerback Rehabilitation is one of the most extensive service providers of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Respiratory Rehabilitation in the United States. Additionally, we are thrilled to inform you that Metro Therapy, our affiliated provider of School Therapy services in the metropolitan New York area, will retain its name while now being hosted under the Powerback family of services.

With this exciting new chapter, Encore Pediatrics will expand our rehabilitation services to new markets in 2024. Here’s a sneak peek of what this exciting transition will look like:

• A brand new look and feel, complete with a new website, improved connectivity options, and more!
• Expansion into additional geographies and service lines to increase access to more families.
• Increased support, allowing us to service you more efficiently and effectively by adding new positions within our organization.
• Opening Soon: Our brand new Learning Center on Long Island in Hauppauge, NY.
• Broadening our network of accepted insurance providers.

With this large organizational shift, it’s important to note that our team is taking ample time to ensure there will not be interruptions in services rendered from now until April 8, 2024, as we know that consistency in care is everything for children with autism. We will continue to provide updates throughout this process, and we hope you share our excitement for the new journey we’re about to encounter together.
